How do you discover great places in Second Life?

First time I logged in SL, I was alone and I found scary this big and mysterious planet called Second Life. What worried me so much was the difficulty to find cool places to visit!
When Koinup launched the Second Life Places area, I warmly welcome them

because this feature is very useful and rich of tips and travel suggestions
